Yoshukai International Karate Association, Mojave Branch started a scholarship in 2004 for Mojave High school students. Our first scholarship was for $200 and it was given to Diana Rico. Since that time we have given over $5000 in scholarships to Mojave students. We rely on donations from our corporate friends who donate the monies for the scholarships. We do not take any administrations fees out, it all goes to the students to help them further their careers. The scholarship is named the "MIKE FOSTER YOSHUKAI INTERNATIONAL KARATE ASSOCIATIONS SCHOLARSHIP. It is managed by the Mojave Branch of Y.I.K.A.
