Natsu Keiko 2007                                                                    Written by: Stephen Ponting

Natsu Keiko 2007 was another great adventure for the Mojave Branch of Yoshukai International Karate Association (YIKA)

Epifanio and his son Zachariah, Greg Jacobson, and myself caught a red eye out of L.A. landing in the morning sun of Florida on the 21st of June. We visited the Hombu Dojo in Titusville with Ricky Copeland, took some photos and headed back to Tampa for Camp 2007.

We had a great time even though we were running on empty. We had the pleasure of Alfons Pinder and his student sharing our Suite during Natsu Keiko.

Natsu Keiko is always a great learning event. We were able to video over 5 hours of training and shot 650 photos. It was good to see the front line achieve Ro Dan Rank. Sense received the Masters Belt from the Board of Directors and as always, he was very humble. It was good to see him in training us on the finer points of Yoshukai several hours a day.

I must say I have seen a great change for the better in my student Zachariah now that he is beginning to understand Yoshukai.

Natsu Keiko should be a must for all children at Yoshukai, as well as, humans world wide. It was, as always, a regenerating experience for me.
